A Digital Detox I Didn’t Plan—But Desperately Needed
Let me start with this: I didn’t mean to go radio silent.
But I did.
Life has a way of handing us reminders—and sometimes those reminders come wrapped in little hands asking for attention, giggles that only last a second, and moments that pass too quickly if we’re not looking up from our screens.
I found myself overwhelmed, overstimulated, and honestly…tired. So I chose to pause. I put my phone down. I stepped away from the scroll. I focused on being present—with my family, my children, and myself.
What I Learned from Unplugging
In my time away, I rediscovered:
- Joy in the ordinary: playing outside, reading books on the couch, dancing in the kitchen
- Clarity about what really matters (hint: it’s not the algorithm)
- Perspective on why I started this journey in the first place
This break reminded me that building a meaningful life offline is the very thing that fuels what I create online.
What’s Next?
I’m back—but with more intention. I’ll still be sharing content, updates, and resources, but I’m doing it with a clearer purpose and healthier boundaries.
Whether you’re a homeschool parent, creative entrepreneur, or someone just trying to find balance—I hope this space continues to feel like a breath of fresh air and encouragement for you.
Thank you for being here, even when I wasn’t.
Here’s to real life, slow moments, and fresh starts.
